As the train pulled out the station
As the train pulled out the station She leaned out to wave goodbye. ‘Twas a sorry situation And a tear came to my eye. Oh, she cut a forlorn figure On that last train to the coast But I couldn’t help but snigger When her head smacked off a post.
Out now - A Flash of Orange - a selection of my humorous verse from the sidelines. Roughly 65 poems for a tenner. P and P free, signed. Foreword by John Creedon

Community Voice Musings 2003-2008
An anthology of my Musings columns in The Community Voice
I work in a warehouse which as you can imagine is very stimulating. I follow Shelbourne FC and football in general. Happily married for over 20 years to Monica with two great no-longer kids, Louise and Neil.
I mainly write humorous verse but have written serious verse, a book of essays, a novel and a biography. But still can't put up a shelf.
