Eggstremes

A boiled egg is overrated,
Never leaves you satiated.
If you eat it without salt,
It has a fairly striking fault –
Simply that, like cardboard paste,
It doesn’t hit your sense of taste.

A fried egg, on the other hand,
Is easier to understand.
A yellow yolk, all thick and runny,
Sweeter than the sweetest honey,
Divine of taste, like liquid gold,
A thing of beauty to behold.
