Synchronicity

They bobbed and they ducked as they went through their paces,
Those synchronised swimmers with smiles on their faces,
Their synchronised diving was nearing perfection,
Their synchronised legs made a joyous confection.
Their synchronised rolling of synchronised knees
Were examples of their synchronised expertise.
And then, though spectators assumed it a joke,
The pair of them drowned from a synchronised stroke.
